Dench!

Hej på er Gooners. Här kommer en liten torsdags blog. Först och främst vill jag påminna om Julfesten då sista anmälningsdagen närmar sig med stormsteg. På lördag sammanställer jag listan och då är det alltså absolut sista dagen att anmäla sig. Så vill ni vara med på vår supergoa julfest eller ta med någon ytterligare Gooner så är det dags att fixa iväg en anmälan nu. 37 personer anmälda i skrivandets stund.

Med det avklarat så kan vi slänga oss in i Arsenals Värld. Frimpong har snackat i matchprogrammet inför Man City matchen och pratade om att han eventuellt kan gå på lån i Januari vilket jag tycker är en lysande idé. Han sa följande:

“Obviously I had a decent start to the season but when players like Alex Song are back, along with Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey, it’s normal that they’ll play because they’re more senior than I am. 

“Aaron and Alex had to wait for their chances in the past and that’s what happens in football – you have to be patient and can’t expect to be thrown straight in. You need to keep learning and hope that, when your chance comes, everything goes well. 

“At the moment it’s hard for me to get into the team, no doubt about that. 

“When you aren’t playing, the obvious choice is to go out for a little while and try to get some game time. When January comes we’ll see – you never know how things will go, so we’ll look at it then.”

Frimpong talade vidare om att han har lärt sig av sitt röda kort mot Liverpool men att han inte kommer ändra sin spelstil. Tuffhet är något som han bidrar med:

“Mistime one or two challenges and you run the risk of getting sent off, so I’ve learned from that and know I need to work on making the right challenges at the right times. But I’m still improving.

“It’s important that when I do play, I bring that aggression to the side – Arsenal aren’t necessarily known for that, so I’m happy that when I play I can bring something a little bit different to what we do.”

Det är bra Frimpong. We gillar tufft så fortsätt vara tuff och ha en go attityd :)

Thomas Vermaelen sticker inte för att det går lite trögt

 Vidare så har ännu en fan favorit, men lite större sådan återigen talat ut varför han förlängde sitt kontrakt med klubben. Jag talar såklart om Verminator. Indirekt så kan man väl säga att  han ger Clichy och Nasri en känga. 

“I thought about it really long and of course I knew there were some doubts about my club,” he said. “For me the most important thing is that I feel happy at the Club.

“Another thing is that I have only really played one year because I was injured last year and I wanted to give something back to the fans.

“I felt like for me I was not done here. I still believe in the Club, I think the structure is really good and these are the main reasons why I stayed.

“I think people think that if things are going difficult it is going to be better at another club.

“For me if it's not going as you wanted at the beginning it doesn't mean you have to quit. It's always easy to quit and go somewhere else. I feel there is some belief in this team.”

Verminator isnt a fucking Quiter! Till skillnad mot Nasri och Clichy. Men vem saknar dom. Pure money, No Heart. Frimpong aka Mr Dench visade Nasri en t-shirt under matchtröjan i spelartunnel innan matchen tydligen som det stod BEEENCH på (med adress att Nasri får nöta en hel del bänk i Man City). Humor.
